Business Development Manager
for Galway Region. The Company current trades from 18 Branches nationwide with a turnover of + €155m. In addition, the Group has specialist divisions including – Heating, Plumbing, Insulation, Paving and Decking, further enhancing their product offering and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identifying new business opportunities, fostering long-term relationships with customer and suppliers.
* Drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong partnerships with other businesses.
* Manage existing key account customers.
* Develop and maintain business relationships with new customers.
* Increase client base by identifying and exploring potential new clients.
* Identifying business strengths and customer needs.
* Work closely with the existing Branch team to provide best in class customer service.
* Work to agreed deadlines and targets.
* Diligently log, track and maintain outbound activity in CRM system.
Key Requirements
* A well developed and proven sales ability.
* A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.
* Broad product knowledge of building materials.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.
* The ability to build rapport and articulate business propositions effectively.
* Strong business acumen.
* Proficiency in analysing market trends and client needs to identify opportunities.
* Highly motivated with an ability to work independently.
