Job Overview
FT is recruiting a Principal Project Manager Highways and Active Travel to lead our Sustainable Infrastructure team in delivering complex infrastructure projects across Ireland. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 12 years of experience in highways and active travel or related infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Supervising and mentoring senior and junior staff within the Sustainable Infrastructure sector.
* Preparing technical reports and tender documents.
* Planning and managing design work, working closely with Engineering Discipline Leads and Technicians.
* Ensuring compliance with quality assurance and management systems and relevant health and safety legislation.
* Coordinating work with other members of the project and Sustainable Infrastructure team.
* Managing client relationships and communications for assigned projects.
Requirements
This role requires a candidate with a Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Chartered Engineer status, and at least 12 years of post-graduate experience in the design and project management of highways, greenway, and infrastructure schemes.
* Delivery of highway or greenway projects in accordance with TII Project Management Guidelines Phases 0 to 7.
* Experience in the delivery of design and build projects.
* Multidisciplinary design management experience.
* Experience engaging with clients, external stakeholders, and subconsultants.
