You design and deliver end to end architectures that enable partners to grow on Vodafone’s network, while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and aligned to Vodafone’s long term technology strategy. You work at the intersection of business, IT and core network domains — influencing decisions, simplifying complexity, and ensuring solutions are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.Essence of the Role – Key Accountabilities:Lead end to end solution design for new and enhanced wholesale products and capabilitiesAct as a key decision maker and design authority within agreed governanceAssess business and operational impacts of technology designs and guide stakeholders accordinglyCoordinate programmes of work across Vodafone and partner organisationsBuild strong relationships with internal teams and third party vendors to ensure efficient, cost effective deliveryArchitecture & DesignDesign end to end MVNO solutions across IT and Core Network domainsOwn solution integrity from concept through to live serviceEnsure designs align with Vodafone architectural principles and technology roadmapsPartner EngagementWork directly with MVNO and MVNE partners as a trusted technical advisorTranslate partner requirements into viable, cost effective Vodafone solutionsProvide consultancy on new technologies and their enablement within MVNO architecturesDelivery & GovernanceLead virtual, cross functional teams across Business and Technology functionsManage dependencies, risks and trade offs, escalating where appropriateMinimise technical debt across the MVNE estate wherever possibleGrowth & InnovationSupport new wholesale opportunities and product evolutionInfluence Vodafone roadmaps based on partner, market and regulatory needsProvide technical input to support Vodafone Wholesale’s growth strategyWe’re looking for you if you have:Essential experience:Proven experience designing end to end solutions across IT and Core Network environmentsExperience leading solution design for small to medium initiatives, or as part of larger programmesAbility to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non technical stakeholdersBroad understanding of network technology roadmaps, wholesale billing and service enablementProven ability to influence across organisational and company boundariesDesirable – or excited to develop:Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant disciplineStrong background working with MVNO and/or wholesale partner modelsStrong integration and SOA experience, with knowledge of CRM, Order Management and ERPUnderstanding of industry architecture standardsExperience supporting MVNO device behaviour across 2G/4G/5G, including VoLTE/IMS and eSIMFamiliarity with Tier 1 operator environments and large scale partner ecosystemsBenefitsCompetitive SalaryFlexible working (times and location) is part of our culture where your hours can facilitate your personal work-life balanceGenerous Employer Pension contributionFree Phone Bill – When you join the team, your phone bill is on us!
