Regulatory Compliance Director
This pivotal leadership role within a rights-based organisation delivering residential services involves leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive Quality, Safety, Governance and Regulatory Compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure adherence to HIQA, HSA and all relevant legislation to maintain regulatory compliance.
* Lead initial HIQA registration and ongoing engagement with regulatory bodies.
* Implement a service-wide quality and safety framework, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Oversee incidents, audits, investigations, and risk management, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies are in place.
* Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and operational guidance to support staff in their roles.
* Collaborate with residential managers on-site quality and compliance matters, providing expert guidance and oversight.
* Distribute education and training regarding quality, safeguarding, incident management, and standards, promoting best practices throughout the organisation.
* Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyse data, and produce quality and safety reports to inform strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of HIQA standards and safeguarding legislation, with a minimum 3+ years experience in Quality, Compliance or Risk roles within regulated health or social care. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential for success in this role. A relevant third-level qualification in Social Care, Nursing, Health & Social Care, Quality, OHS, or related fields is required. Experience in audits, QI projects, or staff training is desirable but not mandatory.
