Associate Director

M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) expertise
to join the largest privately owned cost consultancy in Ireland. This is a rare opportunity for a driven professional to take a pivotal leadership role in a prestigious firm, contributing directly to business growth and leading the commercial management of Dublin's most significant building services projects.
As an Associate Director, you will be a key figure in the firm's leadership team. Your role will go beyond project delivery, placing you at the forefront of business development and strategic growth. You will leverage your network and expertise to secure new clients, expand existing relationships, and contribute directly to the firm's profitability and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development:
Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities, with a focus on high-value M&E projects.
* Revenue Generation:
Drive revenue growth by expanding the firm's client base and services.
* Strategic Leadership:
Contribute to the strategic direction of the firm, identifying market trends and new areas for growth.
* Client Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of MEP Quantity Surveyors and Cost Managers, fostering a high-performance, commercially-focused culture.
* Project Oversight:
Provide senior-level oversight on key MEP projects, ensuring commercial and delivery excellence.
What You'll Bring
* Extensive Experience:
A robust track record of successfully managing complex MEP projects within the Irish construction market. Experience gained from a large consultancy is highly desirable.
* M&E Expertise:
Deep, technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems and their associated costs.
* Commercial Acumen:
Exceptional commercial awareness, with a keen understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and profitability.
* Networking Skills:
An established network of key clients and industry contacts in the Dublin and wider Irish market.
* Leadership Qualities:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a team and influence key decisions.
* Qualifications:
A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Professional accreditation (e.g., SCSI, RICS) is essential.
