Kare Plus Ireland is expanding, and we're looking for a Social Care National Lead to spearhead the development and delivery of high-quality social care services nationwide. About the Role
As Social Care National Lead, you will be the driving force behind establishing a robust framework for social care services within Kare Plus Ireland. You'll set the standards, guide best practices, and ensure compliance with national regulations while fostering a culture of excellence and compassion across our network.
Location: Wexford Town office (with occasional travel across Ireland)
Key Responsibilities
Governance & Compliance
* Develop and implement a governance framework for social care services aligned with legal standards and HIQA regulations.
* Establish and maintain organisational policies and procedures that uphold the highest standards of care.
* Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all franchise locations.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance through regular audits and reporting.
Leadership & People Development
* Support franchisees in recruiting, training, and developing skilled social care teams.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to ensure best practice and professional ethics are embedded throughout the organisation.
* Lead by example in promoting core social care values and national standards.
* Address underperformance constructively while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Risk Management & Quality Assurance
* Champion a proactive approach to risk management and maintain a comprehensive risk register.
* Conduct internal audits and ensure timely implementation of recommendations.
* Drive quality assurance initiatives to meet and exceed HIQA standards.
Strategic Growth & Capacity Building
* Build strong partnerships with communities, carers, and service users to enhance engagement and outcomes.
* Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation to meet evolving needs.
Role Requirements
* Minimum CORU-approved Level 8 qualification in Social Care or higher.
* Proven managerial experience in a social care setting.
* Strong leadership, governance, and compliance knowledge; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Full, clean driver's licence and access to a vehicle (travel required).
