Associate Technical Sales Specialist
This role involves generating new business and ensuring the growth of existing accounts for assigned clients/territories. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical understanding of products or services and be able to assess potential applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Attend customer meetings, conduct sales presentations, and deliver product/service demonstrations in person and via phone
* Provide technical expertise in support of achieving selling goals
* Prepare technical proposals and presentations to support sales teams
* Demonstrate solution selling abilities and effective, proactive customer/client communications
* Analyse customer needs and develop strategies to meet these needs
* Advise and support customers and sales teams on technical aspects of products and services
* Utilize technical expertise to develop and execute trainings, as needed
* Identify areas to improve sales processes and recommend improvements to management
* Act as a customer advocate for pre-sales and post-sales activities
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess advanced written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure with tight deadlines.
They will also have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a time-sensitive environment, and make timely and sound decisions.
