If you're passionate about engineering, enjoy solving technical problems, and want to work in a forward-thinking environment — this role is for you.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines to manufacture high-precision components.Select and configure cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and offsets per job specifications and drawings.Conduct in-process quality inspections and measurements to ensure tolerances and finish requirements are met.Achieve competitive cycle times and contribute to production output targets.Perform preventive maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot technical issues related to machine operations and part conformity.Reorder tooling and materials as needed to support continuous production.Work closely with engineering and quality teams to support process improvements and ensure best practices.Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.Job Requirements:Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling or turning machines (multi-axis preferred).Experience machining aluminium, stainless steel, and brass, with ability to hold tight tolerances.Previous exposure to precision manufacturing for the aerospace and/or medical device sectors is desirable.Familiarity with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controllers is an advantage.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, job packages, and inspection standards.Basic understanding of preventive maintenance routines and tooling care.Strong troubleshooting skills with a mechanical mindset.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment.Person Profile:Excellent verbal communication and mechanical reasoning skills .Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship .Basic computer literacy for accessing job specs and recording data.Strong team player with a proactive and reliable work ethic .Willingness to work rotational shifts and support occasional overtime.Benefits Include:Competitive hourly rate with shift premiumAnnual performance-based bonusCompany pension schemeLife insurance coverageHealth insurance discountCycle to Work SchemeProfessional development & career growth opportunities in a high-tech environmentImmediate interviews available for experienced CNC professionals.Note: By applying for this position, you may also be considered by Pale Blue Dot Recruitment for similar roles in precision engineering and advanced manufacturing.Pale Blue Dot Recruitment – Experts in STEM Workforce Solutions
