Responsibilities
* Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to develop comprehensive electrical cost estimates.
* Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to gather necessary information regarding project scope and requirements.
* Identify and quantify all associated costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals, maintaining competitiveness and alignment with budget constraints.
* Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges and incorporate contingencies into estimates.
* Maintain an organized database of cost information and historical data to inform future estimates.
* Participate in value engineering assessments to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring project integrity.
* Stay updated with industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and best practices in electrical estimating.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, with a minimum of 3 years in the construction or electrical industry.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction methodologies.
* Proficient in estimating software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
* Excellent analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
