Cyber Security Incident Responder Location: Dublin Employment Type: Permanent | Competitive Salary A leading technology and services organisation is seeking a Cyber Security Incident Responder to join its growing security operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work in enterprise-scale environments, tackling a broad range of cyber threats and strengthening overall detection and response capabilities. The Role You'll play a key part in identifying, analysing, and responding to security incidents. Working alongside a skilled SOC and response team, you'll investigate alerts, perform technical analysis, and help implement improvements that enhance overall resilience. Key Responsibilities Investigate and manage cyber security incidents from detection through remediation. Conduct root-cause investigations and assist in refining detection and prevention controls. Support the development of automation and improve response processes. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance monitoring tools and reporting. Skills & Experience 4+ years' experience in cyber security, ideally within a SOC, DFIR, or incident response function. Strong technical understanding of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, NDR, and XDR. Good working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud environments. Certifications such as GCIH, CEH, OSCP, or CISSP are an advantage.
