Ballina Community Games is a non-profit, volunteer-led organisation established to promote participation in sport, culture, and community activities among children and young people in the Ballina area.
The Organisation upholds the values and ethos of Community Games Ireland, including:

* Encouraging healthy participation rather than a focus solely on competition
We are seeking interested parties to assist with facilitating the entry of Ballina Children into the Community Games Competitions.
We are seeking board members for the following roles:
Chairperson
* Provides leadership and direction to the Organisation.
* Chairs meetings and ensures decisions are made democratically.
* Acts as the primary representative of the Organisation in official matters.
* Ensures the Constitution is upheld and activities align with Community Games ethos.
* Supports volunteers and promotes good governance.
Administrator
* Maintains records of meetings, decisions, and correspondence.
* Oversees registration of participants, volunteers, and teams via Community Games website
* Manages communications with members, parents and Community Games bodies.
* Maintains financial records, budgets and payments (or oversees a treasurer role if delegated).
Children's Officer
* Ensures all activities are carried out in line with child safeguarding legislation and Community Games child protection policies.
* Acts as the designated liaison for child-protection concerns and supports implementation of safeguarding procedures.
* Promotes a child-centered ethos and ensures volunteers are aware of their safeguarding responsibilities.
* Ensures safe recruitment of volunteers and monitors adherence to codes of conduct.
