Childcare Assistant - CE Scheme (Milford Community Playschool)

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.
To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.
Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Responsibilities
* This is a developmental opportunity; no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
* Assist the Playgroup Leader in maintaining a safe, healthy and happy environment for children to grow and learn.
* Assist with the children's development skills, play music, develop and create crafts.
* Be a good communicator and able to work as part of a team; develop the project and have good interpersonal skills.
* Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting form.
Qualifications and Training
* Full training in QQI Advanced Certificate in Early Learning and Care Level 5 and 6 will be provided.
* Applicants must have a good command of the English language.
* Applicants must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
