Join ourEPIC teamtoday and let's change the game together Role Summary:Have you a real passion for Men's Clothing & sportswear?We are hiring a Buyer in a very exciting time for our Bootroom & Mainline concepts.As a Menswear Apparel Buyer for Life Style Sports, you'll be responsible for supporting the Head of Buying and Concept team in driving and increasing sales and margin in your category and the overall Concept.You will mentor and lead direct reports aligning with company strategy. You will have excellent analytical skills, an eye for product and bring new commercial ideas to the buying process.Role Responsibilities:Buying:Create product assortments and promotions to achieve budgeted sales, stock, and margin targetsReview and analyse data for your department from both the digital and store channel, ensuring an action focused approach to information acquiredAssisting the Head of Buying and Senior Buyer in forecasting sales, stock and margin for the category concepts in conjunction with the merchandising function.Placing orders with suppliers in line with agreed deadlinesMonitor stock levels against sales projections, working with the Merchandiser to resolve any issuesWork with the Senior Buyer to develop option plans for the website and stores, recording this and monitoring alignment for the categoryGenerate and review weekly/quarterly business reports to support the buying processParticipate in quarterly buying presentations for Senior Team sign offSelect and forecast against core line optionsSupport the development of the Concept strategyRespond to and resolve queries from stores and suppliersEngage in regular competitor product and price checkingEngage with the Marketing and Operations teams to support go-to-market plan to drive salesOther Key competenciesRANGE BUILDINGBUSINESS PLANNING & FORECASTINGSTAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENTKPI MANAGEMNTBRAND PARTNER ALIGNMENTCOMMERCIAL TRADINGTEAM DEVELOPMENTKey Requirements:Highly organised with strong prioritising abilitiesDemonstrate ability to work well in a teamLeadership and development experienceConfident negotiation skillsIllustrate a creative approach to current ways of workingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExtremely good eye for detailNaturally curious and enjoy problem-solvingAbout you:A minimum of 3 years' experience in retail buying or fashion wholesale, displaying an understanding of fashion trendsExcellent administrative skillsIntermediate to high levels of proficiency using Microsoft Office programsThird level qualification in Buying and Business or related discipline (beneficial)Ability to analysis large sets of data and make trading actions or recommendations
