Job Description
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for leading our VAT function, ensuring that all clients receive expert advice and support. This will involve:
* Advising clients on VAT planning opportunities and acting as their main point of contact
* Building and managing a high-performing team, ensuring work is delegated effectively and deadlines are met
* Monitoring progress and ensuring the profitability of the VAT function
* Raising awareness of VAT within the wider organisation and promoting good practice
* Working closely with partners and managers to manage client VAT issues
* Providing training on VAT and supporting the development of junior staff
* Overseeing the delivery of tax projects and advisory work
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* CTA, CTC, ACA or ACCA qualification
* Experience working in a Top 20 firm in Ireland
