Context
The NEC4 ECC Assistant Project Supervisor will support the NEC4 ECC Project Supervisor in overseeing construction assurance activities for the Scheme, ensuring that works by the Design and Build Contractor comply with standards, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Main Duties
1. Assist the NEC4 ECC Project Supervisor in representing the client's interests.
2. Monitor works carried out by the Design and Build Contractors.
3. Witness testing procedures.
4. Verify compliance with the project scope.
5. Ensure all works meet quality standards outlined in the scope and specifications.
Profile/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in construction management/supervision on road or infrastructure projects, including reinforced concrete structures.
- Land survey experience, including setting out.
- Safepass accreditation (desirable).
- Chartered, Incorporated, or Associate Engineer status (desirable).
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster collaboration across teams.
- Strong governance and outcome-driven mindset.
- Capability to identify and resolve risks and issues.
