Circular Food Co works with food manufacturers across Ireland and Europe to transform food waste streams into high value functional ingredients. We supply upcycled malt and fibre ingredients to major manufacturers and help them reduce costs, improve flavour and functionality, and develop new product concepts.
This is a B2B ingredients business, selling into food manufacturing, not a consumer brand or digital marketing agency model.
The Role
We are hiring an Account Based Marketing Executive to support our commercial growth across Europe. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify, target and engage specific food manufacturers, generate qualified interest, and hand over strong opportunities to the sales team.
This is a direct, outbound role, not a social media or performance marketing position. Success is measured by qualified leads, samples sent, and sales conversations booked, not impressions or clicks.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and research target food manufacturers across Europe
• Build and manage focused target account lists by category and geography
• Engage prospects directly via email, phone and LinkedIn
• Identify the correct decision makers in NPD, innovation, procurement or technical teams
• Communicate the value of Circular Food Co's ingredient range clearly and confidently
• Generate qualified leads suitable for pallet-scale orders
• Coordinate sample requests and initial follow-ups
• Maintain accurate CRM records and hand over qualified opportunities to sales
• Work closely with the founder and commercial team to refine targeting and messaging
What We Are Looking For
• Minimum 3 years experience in B2B marketing, account based marketing, or commercial roles
• Experience in food manufacturing, ingredients, FMCG, or industrial manufacturing preferred
• Comfortable speaking directly with senior stakeholders and decision makers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commercial mindset and results-focused approach
• Confident, organised, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
What This Role Is Not
• Not a social media marketing role
• Not a performance ads or growth hacking role
• Not focused on content creation for its own sake
This role is about direct engagement with food manufacturers and growimg the commercial pipeline.
