We are seeking an accomplished Financial Operations Leader to drive business growth and oversee financial management. This key leadership position will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, managing a finance team, and collaborating with senior management to develop business strategies.
The Role:
* Prepare monthly financial reports under tight deadlines
* Develop budgets and forecasts, analyze actuals versus budget and forecast
* Establish KPIs and report performance metrics
* Manage a finance team and work closely with senior management to drive business success
This role will involve year-end audit responsibilities, ensuring inventory accuracy, assessing potential obsolescence and excess stock. Additionally, you will create ad-hoc reports for various business needs, including financial performance and annual budgets. Intercompany account reconciliation, cashflow management, improvement of reports from our ERP system, statutory returns, and preparation of statutory financial accounts and audit are also part of your responsibilities.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Professional accounting qualification
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing company
* Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and Outlook
* Team management and development expertise
* Exceptional time management and organization skills
* Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing to meet deadlines
* Able to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations)
* Proactive, exercises sound judgment and decision making, identifies problems and needs, develops solutions and/or options
