Main Purpose and Objectives of Position: The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing the detailed production plan to deliver required product quantities to meet customer demand while maintaining agreed inventory levels. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for converting the Production Plan into the detailed Schedule/ production gant. Integrate with supervisors to plan daily activities and required shift staffing. Utilise and promote digital scheduling, manufacturing execution and ERP tools (RTMS, MES and SAP) to deliver operational excellence across manufacturing buildings and ensure consistency in approaches with other team members. Ensuring that SAP/APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization) accurately reflect current ROP (Requirement and Operation) Plan. Represent production at site scheduling meeting (communicating suitability of new deliveries; escalating urgent needs for receipt testing / re-evaluation testing; communication of status). Co-ordinate campaign start up activities for existing product re-introductions. Create a Master Production Plan for all manufactured products and maintain valid production plans in SAP. Provide suitable scheduling tools and dashboards to effectively communicate the detailed day-to-day manufacturing plan to the shop floor. Drive scheduling process improvements, Own scheduling tools to run and model process equipment, ensure robust, fit for purpose and effective. Collaborate with the site Supply Chain to ensure products are available for shipping within agreed timelines. Support R&OP (Requirements and Operations Planning) process and seek approval for schedule changes. Coordinate all Batch Release activities: Batch Record review, QCL Authorisation and Cleaning validation reports. Provide Power User support for SAP Master Data changes and MRP planning Provide planning support for productivity agendas, facility shutdowns etc. Prerequisites: +3 years of working in Biotech industry Planning / Scheduling experience preferred Project Management experience / Proven delivery of cross functional projects Educational Requirements: Third level qualification or equivalent education or experience.
