P/T Permanent Accounts Assistant required for 30 hrs per week based in Glenavy .
Duties will include: Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable using Sage 50.
Raise customer invoices and manage credit control activities.
Maintain accurate records of invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders.
Prepare monthly Reports Submit quarterly Returns.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Support monthly and year-end financial reporting.
Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve account-related queries.
Assist with VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
Monitor and manage petty cash and expense claims.
General administrative duties Respond to incoming accounts-related phone calls and emails ensuring resolution Essential Criteria: Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar accounts role.
Proficiency in Sage 50 and Microsoft Office to include Excel and Word Minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English (or equivalent).
AAT qualification would be advantageous Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
