We're hiring a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation developing life-changing therapies for rare and serious diseases.You'll be responsible for the planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities on a GMP biologics manufacturing site, working closely with multi-skilled technicians, engineers, and external service providers. This is a key coordination role ensuring maintenance work is planned, prioritised, executed safely, and remains audit-ready at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule all maintenance activities (reactive, preventative, calibrations, proactive)Run daily & weekly planning meetings and prioritise work ordersForecast maintenance workloads and manage backlog via CMMSDevelop job plans, estimate resources, materials, tools, and timelinesPlan and execute annual plant shutdownsSupport investigations, CAPAs, deviations, and change controlsMaintain CMMS data accuracy and train new usersSupport audits and ensure regulatory complianceDrive continuous improvement, metrics, and reliability reportingRequirementsStrong experience using CMMS (essential)Maintenance planning/scheduling experience OR 5+ years in maintenanceGMP experience within bio-pharma, pharma, or regulated manufacturingStrong electrical & mechanical planning knowledge (hands-on background a plus)Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving skillsComfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced manufacturing environmentsNice to HaveExperience with plant shutdown planningExposure to RCA, CAPAs, and Change ControlsPrevious CMMS administration or training responsibilitiesThis opportunity is a 12-month contract, Hybrid in Cork, Ireland, paying up to €60,000 per annum (pro rata).
