Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager II to lead our theatre team in the South Dublin Surgical Hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the surgical hub and providing guidance, leadership, and knowledge to scrub nurses.
About the Role
* Manage all nursing and allied staff in the day surgery unit
* Responsible for maintaining and developing professional standards
* Provide efficient and effective management of the operating theatre
* Promote collaboration within the department and the multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the surgical hub
2. Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in patient care and safety
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
4. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
* Registered General Nurse with The Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or eligible to register
* 5 years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting or relevant clinical area within the last 7 years
* Demonstrate management experience throughout the last 2 years
