Process Mapping Lead
Process Mapping Lead required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational medical device manufacturing client in Limerick. This is a contract role for an initial 12‑month period. The role is primarily on‑site; a hybrid arrangement of three or more days on‑site may be facilitated for candidates who do not live near Limerick.
The Process Mapping Lead will act as the expert in process analysis, visualization, and optimization for the project, supporting the creation of comprehensive current and future‑state process maps. The Lead will coordinate with SMEs across the US site and Limerick to conduct workshops, capture process details, and facilitate the harmonization of processes across sites. Additionally, the Lead will create SIPOC (Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs, Customers) diagrams for all process maps, document risks in the current and future state processes, and outline mitigations.

Responsibilities
* Lead planning, organization, and facilitation of process‑mapping workshops in the US site and Limerick with SMEs from Planning, Operations, and Quality.
* Use tools such as Visio, Signavio, and Business Optix to capture as‑is (current state) and to‑be (future state) process maps.
* Develop comprehensive Value Stream Maps and detailed Process Maps across multiple levels, aligned with strategic and operational goals.
* Create Data Maps illustrating key data flows within the JJVC Make ecosystem, supporting information transparency and system integration.
* Collaborate with the project team to ensure process maps accurately reflect current workflows and future optimization opportunities.
* Engage with SMEs, Business Analysts, and stakeholders from Jacksonville, Limerick, and other functions to gather insights, validate process details, and drive continuous improvement.
* Support alignment of process maps across sites to enable harmonization, reduce variability, and ensure best practices are adopted.
* Partner with Business Analysts to translate detailed process maps into clear, comprehensive user requirements (URs) that support system development, automation, and future process execution.
* Drive development of harmonized future‑state processes that enable streamlined, standardized, and scalable manufacturing operations.
* Identify potential process bottlenecks, redundancies, and improvement opportunities within the maps.
* Maintain accurate, version‑controlled process documentation and maps.
* Support governance reviews to ensure process maps and documentation meet operational, compliance, and audit standards.
Requirements
* Expertise in process mapping and visualization using Visio, Signavio, and Business Optix; ability to lead creation of current and future‑state maps, Value Stream Maps, and Data Maps.
* Strong facilitation skills for complex process‑mapping sessions with SMEs and cross‑functional teams.
* Advanced knowledge of Lean and process improvement methodologies.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
* Experience in manufacturing and operational settings; prior leadership of process mapping in manufacturing environments.
* Advanced data mapping and information flow visualization experience.
* Ability to translate process maps into detailed user requirements, supporting automation and systems design.
* Advanced proficiency in driving process harmonization, lean initiatives, and standardization.
