Job Title: Production Room AssistantResponsible to: Production SupervisorDepartment: Food Production – Cook at HomeMain Purpose of the Role:To assist in the efficient daily operations of the Cook at Home production and packing area. The Production Room Assistant will support the production team in preparing, packing, and dispatching food products to the highest standard of quality and presentation. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the success of the Cook at Home product range.Key Responsibilities:Support the day-to-day running of packing and dispatch operations in the Production Room.Work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.Assist with preparing ingredients and packaging materials as directed.Follow all procedures related to food safety, hygiene, and quality control.Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.Ensure that all orders are completed to a high standard and prepared ahead of collection deadlines.Assist in stock checks and the rotation of ingredients and packaging materials.Communicate any issues with equipment, stock levels, or workflow to the Production Supervisor.Adhere to company policies regarding dress code, hygiene, and conduct.Support the induction and training of new team members when required.Assist with the implementation of new product lines under the direction of the Production Supervisor.Maintain a positive and proactive attitude while working as part of a team.Attend team briefings and any scheduled training as required by management.Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or management.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionEmployee assistance programEmployee discountStore discountWork Location: In person
