We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our Limerick operations.
In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
* Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan and execute Preventative Maintenance tasks effectively.
* Ensure strict adherence to Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
* Address downtime and process-related issues efficiently, minimizing impact on operations.
* Actively share knowledge within the team regarding equipment and processes to promote continuous improvement.
* Contribute to identifying opportunities for cost-saving and yield improvement initiatives across the broader group.
* Participate in and support Continuous Improvement Projects activities.
* Keep procedures and documents up-to-date in accordance with DCR changes.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in line with 6S principles.
* Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
* Degree-level qualification in Engineering or a relevant manufacturing field.
* High degree of computer literacy.Knowledge of CAD, electrical, and mechanical drawings.Experience with industrial, mechanical, and electrical safety standards.Familiarity with BMS and CMMS.Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment.
* Minimum two years experience in a Mechanical industry post graduation.Background in the medical devices industry desirable.Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and value stream teams.
* Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of meeting timelines and managing multiple projects across different departments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to share knowledge effectively and work as part of a team.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
* Open to acquiring new skills and knowledge.
