Job Summary: As an Accounts Administrator within our residential division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments, reconcile accounts payable transactions, generate and send client invoices, follow up on receivables.
* Manage and process employee payroll accurately and on time, ensure compliance with tax and other regulatory requirements, address payroll-related inquiries and issues.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial data.
* Work closely with project managers to monitor project budgets, track expenses and identify areas for cost optimization.
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies, monitor cash flow and provide regular updates.
* Stay informed about relevant accounting and tax regulations, ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements, manage BCAR documentation during construction process, assist in the management of Health & Safety documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage).
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
