The Role
The post holder is required to provide a full administrative and secretarial service to a multidisciplinary team, including the management of information systems and the coordination of the clinical referral system.
In This Key Role, You Will
Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support including audio/copy typing, photocopying, word processing, use of management information systems, and email to facilitate smooth and effective running of the department.
Collect and collate all patient performance monitoring and staff governance activity, and produce associated statistical information.
Monitor and maintain the waiting list and referral system for the department.
Collect, prioritise and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence and telephone calls on behalf of the team, initiating action where required to ensure relevant and timely responses.
What You'll Bring
RSA3/SVQ3/NC in Secretarial Studies or equivalent.
Proficient IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
