Location: Trim, Co. Meath
Hours:35 hours per week
Contract:Permanent Contract
Salary Scale: €32,658 - €47,065 (pro-rated to hours)
We are currently looking foraSocial Care Workerto join our Day Service inTrim, Co. Meath.The successful candidate will have a strong person-centred vision and will play a critical key role in facilitating and supporting individuals in our Day Services while upholding our core values of providing respectful, progressive, professional, and positive services.
The Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and innovative, with strong problem-solving skills. They will be committed to empowering the individuals we support, promoting a high-quality service that helps them lead fulfilling lives. Graduates with experience in Intellectual Disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
* QQI Level 7/8 Bachelor's Degree in Social Care or a related field (e.g., Psychology)
* Registered with CORU or started the application process for registration.
* Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong IT skills and Proficient in Microsoft Word.
* Full, clean manual driving licence (This is an essential requirement)
* Prior experience of working in disability services is desirable.
* Knowledge of New Directions Services & Supports for adults with disabilities would be advantageous.
