Sky Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Accommodation Manager to join our clients team and support the delivery of exceptional hospitality standards.
As an Assistant Accommodation Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
You will work closely with the Accommodation Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accommodation department, ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assign daily work duties and cleaning lists to Accommodation Assistants/Porters.
Provide training and development opportunities for Accommodation staff.
Perform regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with standards.
Document and address maintenance issues, ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
Oversee deep cleaning programs and ensure maintenance matters are resolved promptly.
Collaborate closely with front office, reservations, maintenance, and other departments.
Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities.
Implement and promote eco-friendly practices within the Accommodation department.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in an Accommodation role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial position.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Good IT skills.
