We are seeking Application Development Lead for P&R team's Payments Product Processor development team. The successful candidate will interact with the key stakeholders from product, operations and other teams for handling of application activities & new projects. The candidate will also interact with development Project Manager, the development, testing, and production support teams, as well as other departments within Citigroup (such as the System Administrators, Database Administrators, Data Centre Operations, and Change Control groups) for TTS platforms.The candidate should be well versed with GPPSP payments product with strong expertise on product technical, deployment & functional behavior.Responsibilities:Custom develops, customizes, and integrates solutions for a complete platform meeting business needsImplements GPPSP product globally, providing robust hardware and software solutionsDesigns, codes, tests, documents, and implements application release projectsActs as GPPSP SME, designing payment flows and providing solutionsExperienced with payment schemes (e.g., Faster Payments) and messaging (ISO 8583, ISO 20022, SWIFT)Builds enterprise transaction systems focused on recovery, stability, scalability, and performanceWorks with JMS/MQ applications (technical exposure preferred)Collaborates with Program Management and QC teams, ensuring SDLC/InfoSec compliance and proactive risk notificationLeadership Skills:Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilityDemonstrates strong responsibility and delivers quicklyCommunicates effectively, documenting technical and functional specifications clearlyProactive problem-solver with strong analytical and business skillsBuilds relationships and promotes teamwork across global teamsManages negotiations, difficult conversations, and prioritization effectivelyFlexible to handle multiple complex projects and changing prioritiesPromotes continuous process improvement, especially in code quality, testability, and reliabilityQualifications:Extensive relevant experienceBachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceExperience in systems analysis and programming of software applicationsExperience in managing and implementing successful projectsWorking knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methodsAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirementsWhat we offer:By joining Citi Dublin, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (up to 2 days working at home per week), but also receive a competitive base salary (which is annually reviewed) and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits that support you (and your family) to be well, live well and save well.
