Job Description
Under the direction of an Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will lead moderate-complexity projects, interfacing with stakeholders and managing all aspects from initiation to completion.
Responsibilities
* Manage significant Engineering projects through Project Management Office (PMO)
* Assemble and lead project teams, assign individual responsibilities, identify resources needed, and develop schedules for timely project completion
* Record customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders to establish project deliverables
* Estimate, monitor, and attain project budgets throughout the project lifecycle
* Ensure stakeholder alignment by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plan
* Lead risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and closure throughout the project lifecycle
* Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes using verification techniques to maintain an accurate project plan
* Improve team performance by building cohesiveness, leading, influencing, and motivating team members
* Measure project performance using tools and techniques to monitor progress, identify variances, and communicate to stakeholders
Requirements
* Minimum 8 years' demonstrated project management experience in a manufacturing environment
* Proven project management skills through delivery of business-critical projects over $5M on time and budget
* Level 8 degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent experience required
* Experience in automation projects advantageous
* Ability to oversee technical advancements and generate detailed proposals
* Utilise software to maintain project records, such as a PM system, MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint, or Visio
* PMP certification or equivalent a plus
* Excellent interpersonal communication, influencing, teamwork, and negotiation skills
