Housekeeping Manager Role
This is a pivotal role within our hotel operations, requiring an individual with strong leadership and organizational skills to oversee the housekeeping department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all guest bedrooms, suites and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory or management position, preferably within the hospitality industry. A degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field would be highly regarded, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility and adaptability are also essential, as the ability to work varying shifts and respond to changing priorities is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and direct housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operation of the department.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel.
* Ensure that all necessary cleaning equipment and supplies are available and in good working order.
* Conduct regular inspections to monitor the quality of work and identify areas for improvement.
* Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity within the department.
