A Senior Commercial Financial Analyst is needed to support my client's renewable energy investment projects. The role involves financial modelling and analysis for various technologies, including wind, solar, hydrogen, and battery storage, and managing capital investment projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and update financial models for capital projects, providing analysis and insights for decision-making.
Develop and maintain a financial modelling process for new business opportunities and asset performance.
Review and challenge investment proposals to ensure a solid commercial basis.
Work with project teams to optimize models for energy market auctions.
Assist with financial forecasting, planning, and due diligence.
Identify key tax, accounting, and risk management issues, collaborating with specialists.
Requirements
Professional accounting qualification or CFA
3+ years’ experience in financial modelling.
Strong financial analysis, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a team.
