Job Description
This role is focused on providing technical support to clients across various locations.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Engineer who can work independently and as part of a team to install, commission, maintain, and repair vehicle safety test and lifting equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing equipment calibrations to the standard of ISO17025, carrying out prescribed equipment maintenance, and undertaking remedial repairs as required.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a multi-skilled working environment, preferably with electrical or mechanical qualifications. They should possess strong trouble-shooting and fault-finding skills, be computer literate, and have experience with software operating systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Undertaking company procedures as prescribed
* Performing equipment calibrations to the standard of ISO17025
* Carrying out prescribed equipment maintenance
* Undertaking remedial repairs as required
* Installing and commissioning vehicle safety test and lifting equipment
* Carrying out activities related to quality, safety, health, and environmental criteria
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must present with:
* A professional, courteous customer-oriented attitude
* Minimum 3 years' experience within a multi-skilled working environment, ideally electrical or mechanical
* Proven trouble-shooting and fault-finding skills
* Be computer literate, with some exposure to software operating systems an advantage
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
* Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and complete job-related documentation
* Valid, full, clean driver's license (Min. Cat. B)
