Occupational Health Specialist Job

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to join our team. This role will involve developing and implementing health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective H&S activities.
\
2. Develop and implement necessary H&S procedures and policies.
\
3. Facilitate site teams in the execution of planned inspections, risk assessments, training needs analysis, PPE surveys, and occupational health & hygiene surveys.
\
4. Ensure all accidents and incidents are thoroughly recorded and investigated.
\
5. Publish monthly reports on incidents and accidents.
\
6. Work with external medical/occupational health resources to identify, control, and provide information on site occupational health hazards.
\
7. Maintain records of relevant H&S documentation, reports, files, and forms using a suitable electronic filing system.
\
8. Monitor and review site-specific H&S KPIs.
\
9. Train or organize training for staff at all levels on H&S issues and responsibilities.
\
10. Publish regular communications/pamphlets highlighting H&S issues and best practice.
\
