The role
Our client, a growing pharmaceutical company specialising in injectable products, is seeking a Sales Specialist to take ownership of commercial activities and based in Cork.
Working closely with the corporate Business Development team, the successful candidate will manage the sales process from qualified lead through to contract negotiation, supply agreement implementation, customer relationship management, and ongoing account support.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop customer relationships across Europe through distributor networks.
Convert qualified business development opportunities into commercial agreements.
Negotiate and implement supply agreements and commercial contracts.
Coordinate product supply activities with internal and external stakeholders.
Support market access activities, including country-specific authorisation requirements where applicable.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating with Quality, Pharmacovigilance, Manufacturing, and other functions as required.
Provide ongoing customer service and account management support.
Requirements
5 –10 years commercial experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in sales, account management, business development, or commercial operations.
Strong understanding of supply agreements, contracts, and customer management.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work independently.
Technical expertise is not essential, but knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector is required.
