Quality Assurance Specialist
This role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality across multiple infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include reviewing project contract documentation, developing and reviewing Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans, conducting audits and inspections, analysing and presenting quality data, supporting tender submissions, and contributing to quality improvement programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review project contract documentation and determine all quality deliverables
* Develop and review Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
* Conduct audits and inspections pre-project and throughout the project lifecycle
* Analyse and present quality data in management meetings
* Support tender submissions and contribute to quality improvement programmes
Sampling, Testing & Analysis:
* Perform sampling and testing of construction materials
* Handle water and soil sampling logistics
* Assist in pressure testing procedures
* Monitor and verify calibration of key equipment
Site Inspections & Compliance:
* Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor quality performance and compliance
* Liaise with government and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance
Communication & Support:
* Attend project and coordination meetings
* Conduct Toolbox Talks and deliver quality briefings as required
* Collaborate with the quality team and site staff to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction-related discipline, previous experience on water infrastructure projects, problem-solving skills, organisational skills, quality systems knowledge, site operations knowledge, health & safety compliance, communication skills, and data analysis skills.
