IT Technician / Support Specialist

About the Role
We're looking for a dependable and motivated IT Technician to join our Fusion Technologies team.
This role involves managing customer requests through the Syncro ticket system, handling calls and emails, providing remote technical support, and occasionally carrying out on-site visits to client locations.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and update support tickets through the Syncro system.
* Handle customer calls and emails, providing friendly and efficient technical support.
* Provide remote support for hardware, software, and network issues.
* Perform basic IT troubleshooting, including:
* Email setup and support
* Printer and peripheral issues
* Internet and network connectivity
* Windows desktop and Office 365 issues
* Complete on-site visits when required to resolve or install equipment.
* Review and process incoming leads and service requests.
* Monitor shared email inboxes and ensure timely responses to all client queries.
* Communicate regularly with the IT Manager / Business Owner regarding ticket updates and customer needs.
Skills & Requirements
* Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
* Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner.
* Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience using Syncro or similar ticketing/RMM systems.
* Familiarity with Office 365 admin, routers, switches, and DNS/DHCP configuration.
* Previous experience in a Managed IT Services environment.
* Full driver's licence for occasional on-site work.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
* Occasional flexibility required for urgent customer support or site visits.

Pay: €30,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
