We are seeking a Fixed Term part-time qualified Groomer for our Turners Cross Store.

Start your career in grooming as a Groomer! In our Grooming Salon, you'll build personal relationships with your customers and their pets, becoming a part of their family. You’ll learn their pets’ styles and personalities to create a customized, stylish experience. From the first shampoo to the final strut home, you'll take pride in your services.

What you will do:

1. Consultation: Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences and concerns, advise on dog grooming (hair care, device use, breed characteristics), and recommend related products.
2. Customer Engagement: Provide excellent customer service, remember each customer and pet, and cater to their specific needs respecting animal protection laws.
3. Follow-Up and Follow-Through: Follow up after appointments to ensure satisfaction, address feedback, and deliver high-standard grooms reliably and professionally.
4. Sanitisation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean grooming area, disinfect equipment, wash towels and tools, and ensure a hygienic environment for dogs and staff.
5. Product Knowledge: Promote grooming services and support the sale of our own-brand products through expert advice.

What you will bring:

* Flexibility across 5 days, including weekends, in a full-time role.
* Previous hands-on grooming experience and/or QQI Level 6 Dog Grooming/City & Guilds certification.
* Proficiency in grooming and clipping all dog breeds to a high standard.
* Professional attitude with effective communication skills to build trust with clients and team members.
* Good time management skills to prioritize tasks independently.
* A passion for animals, confidence with all breeds, and treating pets as your own.
* Commitment to personal development, reliability, asking questions, and long-term career interest in grooming.
