Our client, is an established provider of palliative care services are seeking a full-time, permanent Quality & Risk Manager in Cork. The successful candidate will develop, implement, and oversee the quality and risk management systems within a specialist healthcare setting. This role is central to ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and continuous improvement across the organisation. Role Requirements: A Level 8 (or higher) degree in Healthcare Quality, Risk Management, or a health-related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in quality and risk management within a healthcare setting. Experience in incident management, policy development, and quality assurance processes. Desirable: Masters degree in Quality, Risk, or Patient Safety. Experience with organisation-wide accreditation processes (e.g. ISO, CHKS). About the Role: Develop and implement quality and risk programmes in line with national standards, maintaining risk registers and ensuring effective risk mitigation. Oversee incident management and policy development, addressing complaints, near misses, and ensuring compliance with HSE and HIQA requirements. Lead governance and reporting processes, chairing meetings, guiding teams, engaging with regulators, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
