Mechanical Estimator Were recruiting a Mechanical Estimator to join a high-performing engineering and project delivery team working across major M&E projects.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.This role is based in Cork and is a great opportunity for an ambitious estimator to be involved from early tender stages through to project handover, with clear progression opportunities.If you are an Mechanical Estimator who is looking for your next career move, send your CV to Kate OHerlihy or call for a confidential discussion.The Role Prepare and price tenders from drawings, specs, and scope of works Quantify materials, plant, and labour requirements Analyse and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations Produce detailed cost plans, estimates, and tender reports Develop procurement schedules and respond to tender queries Support client presentations and complete project handovers Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities Requirements Relevant degree or qualification 25+ years experience as a Mechanical Estimator on M&E projects Experience in Ireland or the UK highly advantageous Strong tendering, pricing, and negotiation experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel (File Maker Pro an advantage) Solid understanding of piping measures, isometrics & P&IDs Excellent time management and communication skills Benefits Salary: €65k
