Hotel Manager (m/f/d) – Ruby Hotels & Workspaces
Ruby is a fast-growing hospitality group with existing hotels and workspaces in Europe. We break new ground with Lean Luxury, creating a contemporary and affordable form of luxury. We value personality, time, and a workplace with character and soul.
Responsibilities
* represent your hotel as the go-to person for your team, our guests, and external service providers and partners in all matters
* build a strong team by taking charge of recruitment, onboarding, and development while fostering a positive and collaborative working atmosphere
* roll up your sleeves because you’re not just a manager but an active part of the team – leading by example
* keep a sharp eye on the numbers, stick to the set budgets, and manage forecasting and cost control with precision
* spot trends, streamline processes, and stay ahead of the game with strategic planning to keep your hotel moving forward
* make sure everything runs smoothly by ensuring compliance with HACCP, occupational safety, fire protection, and other legal requirements
* bring the Ruby Spirit to life by implementing our internal styles and maintaining quality standards
* work closely with your Cluster Manager and all relevant departments at the Corporate Office to stay aligned and connected
Qualifications
* completed professional training in the hotel industry and/or hold a degree in hospitality or business administration
* extensive experience in an operational leadership role or a similar position in lifestyle hospitality or gastronomy
* strong knowledge of POS, PMS, and business management
* a motivating and charismatic leader who is both a team lead and a team player
* a warm and welcoming personality with strong communication skills
* a knack for charming guests, with a hands-on mentality to match
* speaking English fluently
