Flexsource is currently recruiting for a Quality Technician for our Client based in Kildare.
* Develop and implement LEAN systems to improve both quality systems and manufacturing execution times, driving efficiency and productivity.
* Conduct internal quality audits to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and maintain continuous improvement protocols, fostering a culture of excellence.
* Manage quality recording processes, analyzing non-conformances, customer complaints, and implementing corrective actions to ensure strict control over the process.
* Liaise with customers' auditors to execute corrective action and ensure compliance with customers' specifications, building strong relationships and trust.
* Collaborate with the Quality Manager to develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan that aligns with national and international standards and legislation, ensuring the company's quality systems and policies are compliant.
* Effectively interact and communicate with departments and teams to maintain product supply, introduce new products, and establish process flows, promoting cross-functional collaboration.
* Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers through the supply chain, ensuring seamless integration and alignment.
* Perform tests and checks to ensure proficiency levels meet required standards, setting relevant checks as per standard operating procedure.
* Plan, formulate, and agree comprehensive quality procedures, including writing technical and management systems reports and SOPs, and continuously update and review procedures to generate continuous improvements.
* Assist in maintaining the company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes, and finished goods.
* Establish clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply, including training and education of personnel through continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence.
* Evaluate and respond to customer queries in a timely manner, supplying relevant information on product specifications and processes where applicable.
* Create trends on internal and external NCRs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Support the Environmental system (EMS) in accordance with the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) License, monitoring and reviewing reports, communicating with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Science, Food, or Production-related fields.
* Internal auditing experience is advantageous.
* Manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Results-driven individual with ability to work independently.
* QMS System: Forward planning preparation for external auditors.
* Detail-oriented, results-orientated, and able to multitask and work in a dynamic environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, creativity, self-motivation, and ability to work well under pressure.
