Job Overview
You will support Siemens Energy’s Transmission Services through planned and reactive maintenance on customer assets, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. Working within a close-knit team, either site-based or mobile, you will play a key role in asset performance, customer satisfaction, and high voltage safety operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance to ensure asset reliability, safety, and performance.
* Develop and implement maintenance routines aligned with contract scope.
* Maintain accurate records, test reports, and method statements on the Maintenance Management System.
* Adhere to SHEQ standards, safety rules, statutory regulations, and Siemens Energy procedures.
* Conduct fault investigations and support root cause analysis for asset improvements.
* Participate in a 24/7 standby rota and support colleagues on call when needed.
* Progress towards Senior Authorised Person and Control Person Safety status.
* Support lifecycle asset management including risk assessments, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in maintenance, ideally within industrial sites or electrical substations.
* Strong health & safety and risk management awareness.
* IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Maintenance Management Systems.
* Good communication, interpersonal, organization, and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to undertake relevant training and obtain high voltage authorisations.
* Qualifications: HNC or Advanced Craft Level 6 in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant fields are desirable but not essential.
