Job Title: Associate - ISIF ( Climate) Division/Function: ISIF Reports to: Investment Director - Climate Contract Type: 23 Month FTC *** Closing Date for Applications: 29 th October 2025*** Summary of the Business: The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) provides asset and liability management services to the Irish Government.

It has evolved from a single function agency managing the National Debt to a manager of a complex portfolio of public assets and liabilities.

Businesses managed by the NTMA include borrowing for the Exchequer and the management of the National Debt, the State Claims Agency, the New Economy and Recovery Authority, the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, the National Development Finance Agency and the NTMA Future Ireland Funds business unit with responsibility for the management of the Future Ireland Fund and Infrastructure, Climate and Nature Fund.

In addition, the NTMA assigns staff and provides services to the National Asset Management Agency, the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland and Home Building Finance Ireland (together the "Affiliate Agencies").

Role Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated graduate to join the ISIF Climate Investment division of the NTMA on a 23-month Associate Programme commencing in September 2026.

The programme is open to graduates with a degree in Finance/ Economics/Commerce/Accounting or a related discipline.

ISIF Summary: The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) sources and completes investments on a commercial basis in a manner designed to support economic activity and employment in Ireland.

ISIF's strategy focuses on long-term transformational investments addressing key strategic challenges facing the country.

These include climate action, housing and enabling infrastructure, scaling indigenous businesses, and food and agriculture.

In addition, ISIF has flexibility to invest in national and compelling investments in response to future events.

Within the ISIF unit there are three distinct functions / teams: Investment, Portfolio Management and Operations.

This role will be part of the ISIF Climate team where the Associate will support the team through day-to-day duties and will also be required to work alongside colleagues across the full range of ISIF activities.

The Climate Investment role provides a unique development opportunity for a high-calibre graduate to gain exposure to the highest standards of the investment management role will have a high level of investment exposure from the outset.

The successful candidate can expect to work on all aspects of a deal, ranging from the delivery of all aspects of a particular transaction, and subsequent to investment, to monitor the transaction throughout its full lifecycle.

The successful candidate will be a member of the Climate Investment team and will work across a variety of initiatives in this area.

All members of the ISIF team are required to remain flexible to respond to the dynamic nature of the ISIF mandate - this may require team members to apply their skills to other types of investment, outside of their core areas of responsibility, from time to time.

Principal Accountabilities The Associate will be required to work alongside Investment Managers and Directors across the full range of the ISIF Fund's investment activities.

Activities will include: Providing support on all aspects of the development and execution of proposed investments Project management of transactions throughout lifecycle from start to finish Responsible for the creation of detailed investment papers describing and analysing the key features of companies / proposed investments Conduct company and industry research Contributes to financial statement analysis and assists with the preparation of valuations Financial modelling skills would be an advantage, including reviewing of and building financial projections for companies Contributes to investment strategy, markets and economic analysis by carrying out analyses and research as required - for the most part these may be new sectors or markets for the ISIF and therefore no particular prior experience of these sectors/markets would be required Work collaboratively with investees, co-investors, partners, service providers and other stakeholders At the end of the programme the successful graduate will have developed a solid knowledge base of the areas within ISIF, including all the elements of portfolio management and our investment process.

Knowledge and understanding of the wider NTMA will also be achieved.
