The Galway Bay Hotel is seeking to recruit a Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team.

This is a busy but well-organised kitchen, and we are looking for an individual who consistently demonstrates passion for food preparation and presentation. We invite applications from experienced Chef de Partie who thrive in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to menu item production according to specifications
* Be aware of daily business needs
* Familiarise yourself with menus and daily specials
* Ensure dishes meet agreed standards
* Prepare and present dishes to agreed standards
* Avoid unnecessary wastage and follow portion planning
* Maintain excellent food hygiene practices throughout the food chain
* Adhere to HACCP compliance within the kitchen and Food & Beverage outlets
* Report equipment maintenance issues
* Manage stock control and place orders
* Lead team members to exceed guest expectations
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a busy kitchen
* 1-2 years experience at Chef de Partie level
* Willingness to work within a team while using initiative
* Fluency in written and spoken English
* Ability to handle pressurized situations
* Flexibility, innovation, and adaptability
