About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Site Supervisor to join a leading construction delivery team supporting groundworks and civils operations across a live project in Dublin.
This role is ideal for someone who has solid site experience and enjoys working in fast‑paced, hands‑on environments ensuring quality, coordination, and safety across all aspects of the work.
You’ll be working with a supportive team that values initiative, problem‑solving, and strong on‑site leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily groundworks operations and ensure smooth coordination of teams on‑site.
* Liaise closely with Project Engineers, Foremen, and Subcontractors to meet project milestones.
* Oversee site health & safety standards, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
* Ensure work is carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* Monitor material deliveries, manpower allocation, and progress reporting.
* Support setting out teams and provide technical input where required (no setting out experience necessary).
What We’re Looking For
* Civil Engineering or Construction qualification (Degree or Diploma).
* Proven experience working in a site‑based civil or groundworks role.
* Strong understanding of site processes, drainage, foundations, and utilities.
* Ability to manage small teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* A proactive, safety‑focused mindset.
* Familiar with Irish water standards and guidelines onsite.
* Full driving licence and flexibility to travel within the Dublin region.
