About the Business
Our Community and Aboriginal Partnerships Division helps to build community safety and wellbeing by providing support and services to children, young people and families, including those involved with the youth justice system, remote Aboriginal communities, and people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The division also leads the department's Closing the Gap work.
Role Details
The Case Manager / Coordinator is a role within the Adelaide Youth Training Centre and is accountable to the Manager, Assessment and Case Coordination for:
* maintaining an appropriate level of security in a custodial environment
* contributing to quality outcomes for residents
* enhancing the social and community living skills of residents to facilitate their effective re-integration into the community and reconciliation with their families
* assessing and responding to the individual needs of residents in care and increasing the chances of successful intervention
* contributing to the delivery of programs and services for residents
Special Conditions
* National Police Check required.
* Employment-related Screening Check required.
* Some out of hours work may be required.
* Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
* Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).
* Role Status: Term up to twelve (12) months.
