Job Description
Your team
The EMEA Controls Assurance team is responsible for oversight of Front Office Control Management and Risk mitigation processes within Invesco's EMEA based investment centres. We provide Investment Teams with insightful analysis on their business risk profile and control effectiveness to support their decision-making capabilities. We are a key partner to the Investment Teams to enable them to adhere to their regulatory and organisational requirements.
Your role
We're searching for an Analyst for our team in Dublin. You will be involved in delivering Controls Assurance process to all EMEA Investment Teams. You will be responsible for ensuring risk exposure is accurately assessed and the controls to mitigate these risks are effectively designed and operating efficiently. This is a key requirement to ensure the Front Office business has implemented effective risk management processes and is adhering to all necessary regulatory and organisational obligations.
You will also be involved in:
* Understanding and assessing inherent risks faced by the business and the control processes in place to manage these risks.
* Conducting detailed analysis of business processes and underlying trading and investment data to evaluate control operation and efficiency.
* Providing data for reporting to Investment Teams, highlighting observations from control reviews, and using data analysis to assess control effectiveness.
* Contributing to the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process by informing management about the completeness of the control environment and assisting with updates and maintenance of RCSAs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek individuals with excellent digital literacy, including coding skills (e.g., VBA, Python, SQL), and a good understanding of the investment environment. Ability to understand processes and manipulate data is essential.
You should demonstrate teamwork, collaboration, self-empowerment, effective time management, and the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
