Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Memorial Design & Lettering Technician to create digital layouts and inscription templates for headstones and monuments and to carry out sandblasting of lettering and designs onto stone. The ideal candidate will have strong computer design skills and a keen eye for accuracy, typography, and layout. Key Responsibilities: Use design software (e.g. Mason Art) to create memorial inscriptions and templates. Prepare files for sandblast or laser engraving processes. Ensure correct spelling, spacing, and alignment of all lettering and artwork. Sandblast lettering and designs onto headstones and monuments. Collaborate with sales and production teams to finalize customer-approved designs. Maintain organized design records and templates. Use of equipment such as automated sand blaster. Qualifications: Proficiency in design software programs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with engraving, sign-making, or CAD design a plus. Ability to interpret customer requests and translate them into precise digital layouts. Willingness to learn stone-working and sandblasting techniques if not already experienced.
