Development Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Development Engineer to join our team in Dundalk, Co. Louth.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the development function between NPD design and machine performance.
This includes testing and developing new systems, hydraulic & electrical components or installations as required.
The engineer will oversee data recording on site or from customers machines and specific applications.
They will also analyse data and create reports documenting development and design improvements.
Additionally, the engineer will oversee all current and future compliance testing.
Developing the test facilities within R&D to verify product durability and function is another key aspect of this role.
The engineer will be involved in technology development discussions for all aspects of the product.
Responsibilities include maintaining own safety and being aware of the safety of others.
The engineer should notify their employer of any unsafe areas, acts or equipment.
Requirements:
* Bachelor Engineering Level 7 or higher in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
* 5 years relevant experience with a thorough understanding of mobile equipment.
* Understanding of engine, drivetrain, hydraulic and electrical components and systems related to mobile equipment would be beneficial.
